| Comment | An unusual show filled with everything from a broken guitar string resulting in a shortened first set, to a less than perfect sound mix (that seems to be ever-changing) for what turned out to be a not-so-well-attended gig (despite its prime hours of 8-11 PM). Nevertheless (or, perhaps, as a direct result of the above), the show has a certain energy and intensity to it (most certainly reflecting the mood of the band itself) that can't be denied. The entire 2nd set is a non-stop experience of improvisational music and songs which create a unique and highly engrossing journey. Dave Heard joins us on drums and vocals again. |
