But, it is surprisingly really good. All instruments come off clear as a bell. Probably tops my Eddie Vedder NJPAC. The vocals are a bit low on the first two tracks, but the sound man adjusted it. This music is great to witness. I haven’t seen Ben this pumped and sitting down sliding in a long time. It seemed like Jason’s guitar solos are just the right amt of notes, Jordan was like Animal from the Muppetts(not my metaphor but fits great), and Jesse is so spot on on bass. Very small crowd. I included a bonus track of Serve Your Soul 4-13-06 because the venue pulled the plug at 2:15 before the encore in which Faithfully Remain, Under Pressure and Serve Your Soul were to be played as listed on the setlist. So, here is a gem of a bonus track that has been hiding amongst my mini-disc collection. A little early Christmas present. PS..Don’t ever park in the lot on the side of the Mercury Lounge. The workers stole my Bose headphones which were hidden pretty well, but not well enough. Melee ensued.. |
