Sound RatingA
NotePlease note that my grade refers to the recording itself, which is great. This was a professional radio broadcast, and the sound is fantastic. But there is much trouble in paradise. There are some pops on the first two songs, and the last 4 tunes are marred by digi-noise that gets worse until it renders the recording unlistenable. Everything in the middle would be awesome, but for some unfathomable reason, a radio host insists on conducting an interview with a city councilman while the band is playing. From All By Myself to I Wanna Be On TV, this interview is done over the broadcast, which is especially ridiculous because not only does it spoil the performance, but you can't hear what the guy is saying because of the band playing behind him. Stupid call there. It's a real shame because the setlist is kickass and the recording has tons of potential. This could have been one of the greats. As it stands now, unless you're the biggest fan in the world, you won't want to sift through the problems to hear the few gems in between. Skip it.
