Sony D8 at 48khz matrix done by SilverStallion Productions video mixing, editing & encoding; audio synching; DVD authoring: Silver Stallion DVDs The first of 2 nights of filming Buckethead and this venue was one of the most difficult places that I have ever attempted to film a show. The ceiling was only about 8 feet high and stage was basically ground level so there was no way of getting a better than waist up shot. The place reminded me of an old bowling alley. I did the best I could given the tough circumstances and I think it turned out decent. The soundboard was extremely sterile so a little of the audience source was mixed in for ambience. There was a total dumbass who tried his hardest to pick up this girl and naturally the whole pathetic conversation was right below my mics. If you listen closely you may be able to hear him babbling but it is mainly just in the background. A BIG thank you to Buckethead for allowing video and audio taping!
