Comment | Radiolarians 2 Tour - July 12-18 ---------- All these songs were written the week before this tour started, worked out during the tour, and then recorded in the studio the week after the tour finished. ---------- 1st known performance of ALL songs Each night the band played a unique encore * fire alarm interrupts Medeski's solo but he plays along for a minute; upon returning Medeski begins where he left off Note from taper: "The second set stops abruptly due to a fire alarm going off. For about a minute, Medeski plays to the alarm but an official eventually comes out and evacuates the building. It turns out that some intelligent beings were having a wedding in the adjacent building and decided to set off firecrackers indoors. Fortunately, the show continued with a nice third set but the result is a very inconsistent, though well played, show." |
