CommentI always went along to the Colchester folk club, in the same venue. A huge church with a high vaulted ceiling. But they announced one night that someone called "Mike Peters" was playing the next night so I went along. Got to be the guy from The Alarm, I thought. Brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Worked his socks off and just put on a really professional show. I believe he's ill these days, so here's wishing a speedy recovery.
