| Tech Note | Featuring Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Phil Vassar, and Nas First Concert on Worsham Field, in Lane Stadium Field seats, 40 yards from stage and center of left speaker tower The concert was offered by these inspired musicians as a gracious gift to the Virginia Tech community. It was about a celebration of spirit. It was about showing the resiliency and strength of our community known throughout the world as Hokie Spirit. On Sept. 6, we celebrated the Hokie Spirit and the university community. We are Virginia Tech. ( from VT web site) First time seeing all these groups, awesome concert and nice recording. Disc 1 use fade to merge both sets. Disc 2 lowered volume on first 3 tracks. Disc 3 & 4 Cut some crowd noise out so it would fit on 2 disc. Note; I had to cut a little off of D4Track04 at the very end because of my singing. You will here a little and will see why. I got caught up in the moment. None Issue: The Hokie Nation was a little loud at first. They do calm down. |
