J-Card CommentThe Who June 29, 1969 Hyde Park London, England Soundboard Bootleg --> EAC Secure Mode --> Flac In 1996, after not playing together since 1982 (besides a quick 1988 show), The Who brought back Quadrophenia. It all started with a concert in the park - Hyde Park. Other guest stars too - see www.thewholive.de/1996 for more on who was there. This bootleg has only a few of the songs, but they're soundboard recordings. There's an audience recording of the *entire* show, but this is a much better sounding. If you like David Gilmour and Pete Townshend together, there's more out there! David Gilmour plays guitar on Pete's White City cd - you can hear it especially on the song Give Blood. Pete Townshend wrote two songs for David Gilmour's 2nd solo album, About Face. Also, Gilmour played with Pete live in 1984-1985 (when White City and About Face were released) and they play other songs together. Look at www.thewholive.de and click on Pete Townshend and look at 1984-1985 to see what shows they played together at. Total time 32:33 231 MB 1. The Real Me 3:46 2. The Dirty Jobs (with David Gilmour) 4:57 3. I Had Enough 6:38 4. 5:15 6:20 5. Drowned 3:54 6. Love, Reign O'er Me 6:52
