| Note | Shot from left side of the stage, right in front of Page. The taper pretty much focuses on him for the entire show, but there are a few pans and zooms on other members. There is some analog presence from the original VHS souce and a few tracking flaws, but overall this has survived very well. The taper gets way too happy with the camera effects though. The sound is excellent, but there is a volume dip from the second half of Your Head through the first half of Distracted. Overall, the show sounds excellent and it definitely creeps toward the B+ range. The first couple notes of Oven are lost due to a cut, but other than that and the taper's occasional slo-mo music video inclinations, this is a very solid recording. Great performance too, but you can tell that Page is annoyed by the stage divers, one of whom accidentally punches him in the face and knocks the microphone askew. There isn't a lot of footage out there from this era, so this one is a definate gem despite its issues. |
