J-Card CommentJohn Hiatt / Los Lobos Austin City Limits 1989 DVD More ACL for y'all, this time an older one from the archives. I can't believe how good this looks, better than some of my more-recent S-VHS captures. Along with the excellent Toshiba Hi-Fi VCR & TDK EH-G tape, I must have had a better cable feed "back in the day," since I did record this myself in 1989 or 1990. This is John Hiatt with the fab Sonny Landreth and Los Lobos doing their "roots" thing, two excellent shows. If you don't have the two records released by them the year before (see below), do yourself a favor and pick them up.
