The band seems to have settled into a temporary state of complacently and routine. Both this show and the show before (Milan) are very solid there just seems to be something missing; inspiration at the beginning of the shows. Dylan builds his vocals and continues until the end of the show. He repeats the line "I'm leaving my heart here with you" in the song "Simple Twist of Fate" during the verses. Mick Taylor's playing seems to mirror Dylan's building during the show. Listen to Taylor on "Every Grain of Sand" it's great. |
