I wrote a C++ program to read the wav files, look for these digital errors and then replce the offending sample with a polynomial interpolation of the adjacent samples. This produced a listenable recording. There were probably > 25,000 samples fixed with this method. The recording is digital in origin but rather sharp frequency cutoff around 15-16 khz so I'm thinking a MD was used Matt Vernon 2/2002 |
