This first set is an upgrade over #10286. It's still not a great tape, but there is much less hiss, oversaturation and distortion. Also, the beginnings of Bertha and Brown-Eyed Women are intact here, and there is no dropout in Tennessee Jed. Some dead air was cut out to make the set fit on an 80-minute disc. The cassette was played back on Nak CR7E with azimuth adjustment. Sound Forge was used for noise reduction and pitch adjustment.
