CEP2.0 was used to align & synch the SBD & the AUD sources. CEP2.0 used to adjust the volume for the SBD, FOB, CTR and LFE channels. Surcode CD Pro DTS was used to encode to DTS. -3db was NOT applied to the rear channels. Both of the sources for the front and rear channels were left at their original levels. - Mixed by dan@am-dig.com - Shn conversion done 14-MAR-2004 - Artwork by dan@am-dig.com 300dpi - For best results print at the highest resolution onto glossy photo paper. Design for use with a clear slim double jewel case. Remix and FLAC conversion done 10-AUG-2005 --------------------------------------------------------- DTS-Audio-CD Info Front Left Channel SBD Right Channel SBD Center Mixed to mono -6db SBD Surround Left channel B&K 4011 Right channel B&K 4011 Sub/LFE Mixed to mono -5db SBD --------------------------------------------------------- Notes The SBD source was missing between song cheers on several songs in the first set. No music was missing. In a few spots a patch with the AUD source was used to maintain a smooth flowing sound. D1T04 Dropout in SBD patched with AUD. This is smooth and most likely undetectible. D1T05 Small tick/pop right at the track mark (not a track ID problem) on the AUD was removed. The SBD was trimmed to match. This is smooth and most likely undetectible. D1T06 Interference from a walkie-talkie can be heard, which is very strange. Disc 2 and 3 can be seamlessly reassembled. If you play this DTS-Audio-CD and hear static it is b/c you didn't really read the text file, did you? --------------------------------------------------------- More On DTS Today's audio standards are moving towards multi-channel sound, like DTS and Dolby Digital. While the Audio-CD standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial) to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the volume very low, start the disc and raise the volume gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the analog audio outputs of your CD/DVD player. Burning Instructions Burn them the absolute same way as you would burn any normal Audio-CD from FLAC files. |
