Cantaloupe Island > band into\ ------------------------------------------------------- Known Flaws - d1t01 fades in, if any at all, I would assume from the appluase that only a few seconds are missing. - d1t03 ends in the middle of Herbie intorducing his band. Anybody know the entire lineup? I can hear him announce Craig Handy, and then what sounds like Dean ?? - The New Orleans JAzz Fest Schedule from 1997 has Herbie playing a 75 minute set. This tape is only 46 minutes long. I've talked to Edogg and he replied that he remembers Herbie getting a late start due to the size of the crowd and he said he thought this was the entire show minus the closing intro's, but was not certain. Maybe the masters will pop up and we can know for sure. - Big thanks to Edogg for supplying his tapes for this transfer. The sound is a was a bit distant, quiet, and very bass laden. I've EQ'ed to fix as much as possible without being destructive. All tape flips are crossfaded. There were a few small patches and level fluctuations.
