Rockin in a Free World (Neil Young cover) Equipment: Sony D6 (analog deck) with ECM907 mic, don't knock my equipment, I was just happy to be recording shows! DATs were far too expensive and small Minidiscs were not available (to my knowledge when I purchased!) Converted to WAV using LineIn to Soundforge. Note: Recorded from the about the 5-6 row, not sure why I got so close this night as that is not usually something I do. The place was packed which was not common for this venue (which led to it demise) although I saw some freakin amazing shows here, sometimes bands showed up and the place didn't promote them enough and they only sold 100 tickets or so, so instead of playing in the ballroom, they sometimes had them setup in the bar which led to some amazing shows. This show however was in the ballroom. |
