Note | REMASTER!Looking at the source I was slightly skeptical over it's origin. It contains a rather deep drop at 16k but the curve looks natural at least. It also contained 15.65k and 19k tones. The 19k is fine as it's a stereo FM cap, but the 15.65k I find confusing, though not totally uncommon. At some point, possibly even during the capture, a video source was nearby or not mentioned in the lineage. Overall I find the source to maintain a lossless integrity and therefore have worked it over and found it worthy of sharing here. The rest is up to you.
The spectrum was good though "crisp" in the high-end and the imprint was very low with a seriously small headroom bounce. I did some de-compression, warmed over the brittle highs and maximized. |
