I know a taper who taped this show, and one of his other tapes did get bootlegged (Helmet at Club Heidelberg in Ann Arbor 1990) by someone he gave a copy to, so I suspect the same may have happened with this show. Here is the lineage for his tape (which has only circulated in analog): Sony ECM-121 Microphones > Sony WM-D3 > Denon Metal "Chrome" tape. Recorded about 10 or 15 feet from the left stack, about 8 feet away from the bands road manager (who confiscated a photographers film during the show, but never noticed the person in front of him taping the show). I don't have a copy of his tape anymore, but I remember his recording setup (and his story about this show) since I used to hang out with him alot during this time. If I remember correctly, Alice In Chains were the opening band, and opened for Extreme (?). We left after AIC, so it is a blur now. Hope this helps. |
