I've always been a huge fan of Zakir Hussain, so anything he does I'm interested in hearing. I got first turned on to him playing with George Brooks in the late 90's. It was odd to me then that it really wasn't Indian nor percussion-type music (yet the influences are obviously there), but rather straight up jazz for the most part, yet it slowly grew on me. Here's the latest one I've found with this collaboration. Nice quality AUD recording - I'd give it an "A-", and a pleasant show - check it out if you're in doubt!
