Comment | This show is commonly mislabeled 55' Youngstown Ohio. This date cannot be correct because Hurt wasn't "rediscovered" until 1963 when blues collector Tom Hoskins connected the lyrics from Hurt's song "Avalon" to his Mississippi home.
This live show was released in 1970 by Vanguard Records on vinyl and later digitally mastered and re-released on cd in 1987. Please visit:http://www.vanguardrecords.com/Hurt/best.html for more onfo and to order the official release |
