In general, most of the time, it's master (reel, cassette, DAT, or whatever) -> DAT -> Sonic Solutions digital audio workstation -> master CD -> CD clone that goes to radio stations (or, in the case of public radio stations, the master CD goes to NPR where it's uplinked to their digital satellite system; most stations downlink to DAT and broadcast from that." |
