MFT (INC) (10:09) Tracks 1 & 2 are probably from the same night as Live in Seattle, cf. announcer says before track 1: "It looks like a microphone farm around here tonight because there seems there's a record session going on simultaneously with the live broadcast. With a little luck there might be room for six musicians on the stand as well. We have ...(lists the band)" However, the two tracks are possbily from different broadcasts - there are two different announcers - first male, second female. Afro-BLue is probably Fuji's item l for his entry on this date, while track 1 is Fuji's item k. Tracks 3 & 4 are newly discovered - source unknown - and their placement here at this date remains unconfirmed. They may possibly be from some session 66-0000, as per information from Lewis Porter 1998, p. 374, regarding these recordings. He wrote: "Probably somewhere in 1966: Coltrane in rehearsal, taped on several occasions; "Lush Life" and other pieces." |
