NoteCircle Jerks is a blend of their NWT appearance and, possibly broadcast that way, interwined with another live CJ show of them doing the same song. Kraut, Screamers, Cramps and X each have a video, none particularly high tech but each with a concept. Considering they were made around 1979 through 1981 and done independently, they're not bad. The Fear from SNL is the best recorded and apparently the song that was cut off on its national broadcast is also cut off here. Screamers video they remain as motionless as they can while playing with a flavor of what Devo would do. X's song is Excene in what looks like an old timey black & white film. Together this is a good early U.S. West and East coast punk live and music video dvd. Fear is A, most of the rest is A- to B+. Some Dead Boys is B.
