04.29.02 Source A: Mini Disc --- ECM-S5 > Sony MZ R-700 Taper: Rajan Gen: Unknown Notes: Although this is not a spectacularly varied performance, the setlist order is interesting when you compare it with other performances from this era of touring. That said, the recording is of relative above average quality. There are audible limitations of the equipment used but this is really not detrimental to experiencing an all around nice capture of Tool. Levels are clean, sharp & nice. Would have of course been better, comparably, if one were to have used a DAT but is still wortwhile to lsiten to. At least on some occasions. There are known MP3 & SHN recordings floating around as well as there are 1st Gen CD transfers, like this one, around as well. This has also been confused with being from Phil's recording.
