| Tech Note | The vocals are buried in the mix early on, which was the fault of the knuckleheads running the sound at the festival, not the recording, which is why I give the sound A-. Everything up through "Tulsa Time" fits on one CD with John Mayer's set from the same show. The songs with Willie Nelson fit on one CD with Los Lobos' set from the same show. Or, if requested, I will put the entire "Vince & Friends" set on one CD by itself. I have to say, I had no familiarity with Gill's music before attending this show. I'm still not a huge fan, but I was impressed with his performance. He's an excellent guitarist! |
