Comment | Here's a GD oddity, compliments of Jake Feinberg and Jeff Harrison...
The tape was labelled "1985 Studio". The percussion tracks are very reminiscent of the material that appeared on "Dafos" (1983 Mickey LP). The bass player is likely Bobby Vega, who played on Dafos (not Phil). As for the "Strange Remain" tracks, these appear to be various mixes of the same rough basic track. Bobby is clearly present, but it's difficult to tell who else is playing. Jerry does not appear to be on any of these tracks. This version of the song bears very little resemblance to the versions that were done in the 1990's. |
