Remarks on tracking:

With Hi-MD, ~94 min uninterrupted recording is possible in linear PCM format. If
a concert (or an uninterrupted part of it) exceeds 80 min, the problem of proper tracking
for CDR burning arises.

Realising that a growing number of people listens to music on computers directly from files
rather than burning them to CDRs, I decided the following regarding my Hi-MD recordings: if
a concert (or a part of it) exceeds 80 min, no editing of audio is performed just
to allow CDR burning. More precisely, *no fades are introduced* to keep the acoustical integrity
of the show. However, I always make tracking to allow a logical splitting to separate CDRs and suggest also a
proper splitting position. Covers, if applicable, are also made according to the recommended
CDR split.

These rules are applicable to the present recording as well. I suggest the use of the
excellent burning software Feurio! (www.feurio.de) to easily perform
fades during burning.

Known problems: none

Remarks on sound:

The sound of the concert was disappointing as faithfully reproduced in the present
recording. What you hear is most probably a synergetic effect of bad acoustics (big sports hall), bad
P.A. system, bad engineering and a not really appropriate taping position. Listen to the mp3 samples before
downloading! If anyone has an idea how to improve the sound, (s)he is invited for remastering, but please,
contact me beforehand for the master! (The edits I performed was shifting the volume
balance to the right and removing a big bang of unknown origin.)

HEALTH WARNING: The recording has great dynamic range and heavy bass content.
