Taped and Transfered by Jeff Holland Notes: I was a wee bit drunk when I recorded this (I just came from a beer festival) and so my set up was badly off. I used omnis because i knew that the audience would be very quiet (they were), but I think the bass ended up too reverby, so i cut it back in post. Also, for some unknown reason I ran X/Y with the omnis, assuring that there would be no stereo. I offset the channels by 30 ms to add some of that effect. Surprisingly, it sounds OK. Feel free to dump it if you don't agree. |
