| Comment | Patti Smith Live in Vienna Austria 1978. Exists as a video with German subtitles and interviews in the back of a car. There's 10mins of amazing footage of Patti in a studio improvising on a Jim Morrison poem (American prayer) while playing piano accompanied by a violinist. Patti shopping for a clarinet. Basically this was filmed over 20hrs in one day. The camera follows from dressing room out on to the stage.
This is essential viewing to any Patti Smith fan, & in my opinion the interviews are a lot more valuable than the live footage. It runs for 80mins |
