J-Card Comment | Patti Smith ARTE tv documentary 1997 SVCD mpeg-2 (PAL) Tv rip-credited to some person called "bandit999" Nothing has been changed with this file except for the info Production credits: (translated poorly from French by Babelfish) Realization-Anias Prosaic (???) Production-Gerard Pont & Gerard Lacroix Assembly-Antoine Moreau Documentalist-Anne Gallois production Director-Caroline Candille Journalist-Christian Fevret I got this off another site over a year ago, and it is a wonderful documentary in very good quality. Some of the footage is shot especially for this tv program, and there are also many rare and wonderful clips from the early 1970's. It is quite interesting to watch her progression from young idealistic poet to punk goddess, and finally to the wiser, mature woman whose art helped her overcome great personal tragedy and loss. This should be of interest to Patti's hardcore fans, casual fans or the merely curious. If you have never seen the SNL clip of "Gloria" from 1975 prepare to be blown away! Compare with the "Dancing Barefoot" from 1996, and you'll see she hasn't lost a bit of steam. In fact, I just saw her in NYC in Dec, on her 60th birthday, and Patti and her band are still kicking some serious ass! There is no menu on this , but if there were, it might read like this: 01. We're Gonna have a real Good Time together-(Stockholm 1976)-complete 02.interview 03. Summer Cannibals- (Olympia, Paris 1996)-complete 04.
