China Cat Sunflower> 2. I Know You Rider 3. Hard to Handle Simon's Notes from the original seed: Two short video clips of this festival, both showing snippets of bands (inc. the Dead), crowd shots, etc. These are both taken from my VHS videos and copied straight to DVD. I have no editing software so they are "as is".....no fancy menus,no smooth transitions, no SBD dubbed onto them, etc. The first clip is approx. 4 minutes long. It was shot by Bob Colover on 8mm film. It's colour but silent and shows all the above inc. some segments of the Dead. There's more about this short film at Dave Lang's excellent website: http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/Holly-fest-menu.70.html As I recall, Dave and I persuaded Bob to share his film in exchange for a SBD of the Dead's performance. I got my VHS tape copy directly from Bob so its lineage may be 8mm > VHS or there may be an additional VHS generation in there. The second clip is clearer, in colour, and had some sound dubbed onto it (which bears no resemblance to the images other than, occasionally, it's the same artist). It's got lots of crowd shots, the Angels, the Hare Krishnas, and also a few bits of the Dead. I've no idea of its lineage. Don't want to mislead anyone - these are NOT quality videos of the Dead's performance but they do feature the Dead from time to time. Other bands featured include Family, Free, Colosseum, and Lord Sutch. -Simon, 16th Jan 2007
