Source : This was one of the first CDR compilations of material. All of this was sourced from cassette copies, mainly 2nd to 4th generation. Notes A lot of this material has shown up since on other compilations most notably the Blues Outtakes and KPFA tapes where they are much lower in generation and from DAT or CDR sources. I've left this set almost exactly as it was first put together even though I do have some upgrades for a couple of the tracks. When I originally put this set together it had a limited distribution amongst the traders group set up on the old Hey Joe mailing list. However since then it seems to have taken on a life of it's own and appears on many trading lists, as it should.
