Satisfy My Soul (Dub Version) Total Running Time: 46:59 Notes Inside CD: This CD compromises very interesting material 'cause most of these songs are unreleased material from the first album of His Godhead Bob Marley. In December 1970 Bob brought out his first album "Soul Rebel". (Track 3 and 4 are from it). But the Tracks 1, 2 and 5-13 are from the recording sessions from the early 1970's to Soul Rebel. It looks like Bob didn't like these songs enough to put them on the album. But I don't understand that becasue most of the tracks are fine and interesting. Sometimes they are not the typical reggae songs but music full of soul from the motown era. A few Other songs sound very funny, and it's clear why Bob did not put these songs on the album. The last three songs (tracks 14-16) are fantastical and powerful dub versions of these songs. Very groovy. So when you listen to the CD lay back, relax and maybe smoke a spliff. But think about it. Bob Marley's music was not only fun and stuff like this. He was an icon of the rasta movement, too. But he was not really interested in poitics. The only thing he wanted was freedom. A simple word but hard to realize. I will end with words from Bob Marley: "Could You Be Loved" -Your Ghostwriter.
