A recording of this show has circulated with the dates 3/14/02, 3/11/03, 3/14/03, and 3/18/03 because the Trader's Database had the same setlist for all 4 shows before some of the show records were merged. The latter 2 dates are incorrect because they were not in Austin, TX per the Past Tour Dates on the band's web site http://www.crowmedicine.com/tour.php?tour_method=all . It lists the band playing at Antone's at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin, TX on 3/14/02, and SXSW in Austin, TX on 3/11/03. This is ambiguous because Antone's could have been the venue at the 2003 SXSW Festival also. However, at the end of "Beacon Town" a band member says: "We'll be down in New Braunfels, Texas playing at Greune Hall on Saturday night with Junior Brown if anyone wants to make the trip". The Greune Hall show was on 3/16/02 per the Past Tour Dates web page, so the correct date for this recording is 3/14/02. Joe Steffen (HackensawFan at comcast dot net) |
