| Tech Note | "The Complete Unplugged". Complete live session, inc. chat with audience between takes, false starts, jams and other parts not broadcast. One CD comprises a lengthy excerpt from the rehersal / soundcheck - fascinating to hear how the sound is put together. Nice playing throughout by this jazzy, acoustic band. Setlist mostly from "The Soul Cages" (very good "Wild, Wild Sea"), plus some older songs, and covers (inc. a nice "How Insensitive"). Some crackling on track 13 (which might be part of the sound check). |
