| Note | I know it looks like it's the Taktlos Festival from their (very outdated by now!) website, but this is actually part of a series of 6 concerts, held on Wednesdays in November/December or December/January, and these concerts have been known to me as TONart concerts since at least 1996 (when I started taping radio shows). The Taktlos festival is still annually held in Zurich and Basel (same programme in both cities), while the Bern edition went its own way some years ago (don't ask me about details). Now it seems the Bern edition has ceased to exist on its own (nothing since 2003 if their website is up to date in that respect... 2003 was the last time something was broadcast on the radio, too, I think) and they are sort of co-leading the TONart concerts which were announced on the radio and in the printed radio prgramme (Radiomagazin, in case you know it) as taktlos-tonart. To make things more complicated, these concerts relocated for the third time (they were held at Kunstmuseum and Landesbibliothek Bern before) and now take place at the location where the Taktlos festival took place before, as far as I know.
In short, I don't know what happened and what's up with the taktlos-bern.ch website, but I'd rather use both names and label it like this: taktlos-tonart bern 06. --ubu |
