| J-Card Comment | This is the complete 3 hour (plus) Captain Fantastic 30th Anniversary show performed at Madison Square Garden in New York on September 23rd, 2005. Lineage is Audience (cassette) to CD to Hard Drive to FLAC to WAV, some editting done (see below) and back to FLAC. The sound is pretty decent. The original taper cut "We All Fall In Love Sometimes" and "Curtains" into 2 separate tracks on 2 separate CD's. We All Fall In Love Sometimes is joined back up with Curtains on CD #2. Elton starts by playing most of Peachtree Road, then goes into Captain Fantastic. He plays the entire album with the exception of "Tower of Babel" and "Writing". My guess is that he skipped those two because of the falsetto. He then goes on to play his "jukebox" (Greatest Hits). Peachtree Road is preformed with a choir, as is much of the Greatest Hits part of the show. The original FLAC files had 2 sec of silence at the end of each track, the silence has been editted out on this version. |
