| Note | This was pro-recorded for radio, but the show is rendered unlistenable by a Spanish radio announcer who NEVER SHUTS THE FUCK UP. He talks between every single song, he talks during Axl's banter, he talks when the next song starts, he chimes in in the middle of songs when Axl isn't singing, and even better he talks over the vocals when he feels like it. I'm not sure what the dude is saying since my Spanish isn't great, but every fourth word is "Axl Rose," so it's pretty apparent the guy has a boner for Axl. Seriously fucking annoying. The sound is largely solid, but it has aged and isn't quite as crisp as you'd expect from a radio broadcast. Pretty Tied Up seems to have been edited together from a couple of different sources, so I'm not sure what the story is there. Plus, my copy has clicks between tracks. I'm not sure if a flawless version circulates, but if one does, I'd love to hear it because the little parts of the show the DJ actually lets me hear sound awesome. |
