Comment | I recorded this concert while I was in college. There were no seats,
and I was standing amongst a mob less than ten feet from the stage on the left side. I borrowed a weak tape recorder with a built-in microphone in order to record the show. The band's sound guy was also recording the show, and some of the tracks ended up on a live album, including Battle for the Planet of the Apes. John Flansburgh was sick and left the stage at one point, presumably to vomit. They didn't play their planned set, probably for that reason. The sound quality from the original recording is a C at best with tons of distortion. I just don't know how to fix that, so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. |
