CommentHere's the story behind this video footage, It's made up of various television appearances made by SAHB in the early to mid seventies. Several fan's from around the world pooled all the VHS video they had and got it into the hands of one very special fan in Russia. This particular fan is a professional film maker specializing in DVD video. He worked on it and cleaned up and restored the quality as much as possible. The idea was to preserve this footage as the tapes will be fading in the next few years. Originally only 50 of the 2 DVD set were made and about half were given away free to fans. The other half were sold on ebay to cover the costs of manufacturing.

Well all of the original DVDs are sold now and so I'm taking this opportunity to share here on EZT. Much of what was on the original DVDs has been released officially and so can't be shared here, "Give My Complements to the Chef" was released with the Old Grey Whistle Test DVD volume 1 so it had to be omitted. There was a Live concert in Syracuse NY that had been released officially on VHS in the seventies as well. Also disc 2 of the original set was mostly Documentaries about SAHB and I didn't include any of them.

So the best of what's left is what we have here, One hour of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.
