| Note | This is a rad disc, but the sound is all over the place. The first demo has a bunch of tape hiss, so it would fall into the B- range. The second demo sounds a ton better, and actually takes up a big chunk of the disc, so it's worth getting this for that alone. That one is a solid A-. The third demo has aged a bit more, but still sounds pretty good, save for the analog presence. A straight B there. The show, itself, is actually at the tail end of the disc. It's a board mix, but it has aged, so it's a solid B+. There are a few spots throughout that reveal the limitations of the source tape, but if you dig 7 Seconds, you'll love this. Really cool, despite the hiss. |
