This is a very short recording, but the
sound quality is very good so I decided
to release it. We arrived at the end
of the second set, then at the third
set there was only me and my friend.
MJV and his band were ready to leave
because no one was there. I had bought
the generic blues album and knew at
least 5 song by name and Maurice
would keep looking at the two of
us and say are you ready to go home
yet. Well, I cut this out of the tape
but kept yelling the names of tunes
from his album so we got 2 more short
tunes before they decided to leave.
Since no one was there I took a seat
that was dead center about 30 - 35 feet
from the speakers. There was no
obstruction from the mics to the
speakers so this recording came out
really well. Classic Chicago sound!!!
