| Note | A really cool set of demo material. These versions vary greatly from what ended up on the final cuts, and it's really interesting to hear songs like Three Days as they began their gestation periods. Sadly, my copy is slightly marred by some background shuffling which seems to be the product of a bad burn. It doesn't obscure the sound, and it's only really a factor on Idiots Rule and the last three songs, but it is there. If not for that disappointment, this disc would be mandatory, because these recordings have survived very well, and tape hiss is almost a non-entity. |
