Deer Creek Noblesville, In. 7/11/00 ~ Set I ~ Ya Mar - fun opener, second time this tour Moma Dance - really solid version Uncle Pen - good to see this return for the first time since the tour opener...great tune, nice version Drowned - gotta love a midset Drowned!!! nice upbeat tempo to this jam...really enjoyable...into -> Chalkdust Reprise - fun little tune, into -> Chalkdust - awesome version, the most energy i've heard from this tune so far this tour Theme - nice jam, nothing too crazy though Cavern - nicely done A good set, everything was above average and quite enjoyable ~ Set II ~ 2001 - solid groove to open the set, didn't really reach a strong peak though, into -> DWD - this is the DWD i've been waiting for this whole tour, good solid groove with a ton of energy and no spacey aspect to it...this is just a solid rocker...nicely into -> Moby Dick - nice segue into this, quick little drum solo and back into -> DWD - just the ending and it picked up right where it left off as far as energy goes, excellent version overall...into -> Runaway Jim - had a decent energized jam for a few mintues then just dropped into noodleness...is that even a word?..eventually makes it's way into -> Moby Dick - another quick minutes version BOTT - decent version, into -> Moby Dick - starts as Trey playing Moby Dick over the BOTT jam, kinda neat...this is a much more full feeling version than the last few, into -> BOTT - only for a second or two Hood - Moby Dick teases in the intro...really nice jam with a beautiful peak at the ending which lead right into -> Moby Dick - same as last HYHU - standard, into -> Terrapin - i like this tune, one of my favorite Fishman tune...as usual a weird vac solo, only for a minute or two and back into the lyrics, into -> HYHU - very nice with band intros and all, into -> Moby Dick - everyone but Fishman who was rambling about something Zer0 - standard Fun set, everything was played well...good jam, lots of banter and fun...enjoyable ~ Encore ~ First Tube - standard, into -> Moby Dick - good reprise of it, into -> Chalkdust Reprise - awesomeness, fun stupid Phish right here and i love it Overall - a good show musically, a great show entertainment wise...enjoyable from start to finish |
