Bono refers to "Lucille" as "the first country song we ever wrote". The soundcheck is an interesting bonus, even though the sound quality is not great. Track 8 of Disc 2 is mainly instrumental, then Bono sings a couple of lines of The Doors' classic. Tracks 10 and 12 of Disc 2 are unreleased songs and both are fairly decent (the titles were presumably invented by the bootlegger). Track 13 of Disc 2 is labeled as "acoustic version", but it isn't (although the drums are missing and Edge is playing a different riff). |
