Comment | This show was performed near the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, a popular honeymoon spot where Dennis and his wife spent their honeymoon (he refers to it during the show). On this night he played with his usual band, with the addition of special guest and ex-Styx bandmate Glen Burtnik on stage the entire show. An unexpected highlight came about two-thirds of the way through when they broke into a spontaneous, energetic romp through Long Tall Sally, Run Run Rudolph, and Great Balls Of Fire! As far as I know these are a rarity for a DDY show.
Dennis sang an acapella version of Show Me The Way with his backup singers. The man has an UNBELIEVABLE voice that has only deepened and mellowed with time. His vocal abilities really shine on Show Me The Way. |
