Note | *Truly an incredible show, one of many played in 1985. Something about those Healy boards from '85 really made for some good sound mixes, especially with Phil who really highlights this show. A killer 1st set with a rare Truckin> Smokestack> High Time opener featuring Matt Kelly, not to mention a smokin China Rider to close the set. As if things couldnt get better, the band opens the 2nd set with a blistering Phil inspired Scarlet Fire followed by a beautiful LL Rain. The Other 1 here is one of my favorites from '85, lots of Phil, lots of noodling Jerry lines and Weir chops. The Black Peter is a soulful one with some real heart felt singing. I dont know whose idea it was for them to play "Day Job" in the 1st place, but I guess you can add it to the list next to "I Fought the Law". Overall an outstanding show (all on 2 disks!) and one guaranteed to get many listens...
