| Comment | The Regal Theatre in Subiaco was the venue where some of the "Live,
May 1992" album had been recorded earlier in the year. If you listen on the "Live, May 1992" album to the track "I Was Hoping You'd Say That" (the first time it haad ever been played), at the end after the applause dies down you'll hear a girl call out "Paul, you're a poet!" Well, she was back for this show, and at the end of that song she calls it out again, acknowledged by Paul who no doubt had been listening to those tapes for the live album release. Vika Bull is a special guest at this show, singing on "One More Chance", "We've Started A Fire", "99 Years", "Melbourne Girls", "Dry Your Eyes" and "Hard Love". There's quite a few songs that were unreleased at the time, and a few that are still unreleased (by Paul Kelly at least, others may well have recorded them). |
