Note | This is actually a great recording, but the source has aged a bit. Clicks at the set changes, but no problem there. There is a definate analog presence, and some interference from the source (most recognizable on Phone's Off and Sugarlight) which dilutes the sound in places, but for most of it's running time, this is a really solid audience recording, and a great performance. The rockabilly segment of the show is really cool, as are the renditions of Nausea and World's A Mess featuring Ray Manzarek. Plus, Roadhouse Blues? Kickass. |

Comment | Date is unclear. If people who own the two Whisky shows from this year without setlists will post them, that will help pinpoint this one. The Unknown song is actually played twice during a rockabilly segment of the show. After they play it the first time, John says "let's do it again", and they do. Set 2 features Ray Manzarek on keys, and set 3 features Top Jimmy on vocals, and Manzarek on keys. |
