| Comment | "First, we've got the KTCA (Mpls , Twin Cities Public TV) Showcase video. It features parts of a live performance before an audience, in a small TV studio, along with interview clips and an acoustic tune. It's too bad it's only a 25 min program, so there's only room for a few songs. Still a great document to have! (btw, I attempted to put in chapter marks, but in the finalizing on my DVD recorder, it decided to put it's own chapter marks in, which don't really sync with the beg. of tunes). From 1992. After that, we've got the promo only Electronic Press Kit for Across the Universe, which has some live clips (oh, what a tease! and this stuff is really well shot, too....man, the stuff that must be sitting in the Trip Shakespeare archives!), funny bits, the band talking, and even some accapella harmonizing. There's one little video glitch in the middle..unfortunately, that's how my original tape is. From 1990. Last, there's a live acoustic rendition of Snow Days on Onion World, which I believe is a Mpls local cable music show. Not sure when this video is from, but probably 1990/91." |
